Rock Engineering in Difficult Ground Conditions – Soft Rocks and Karst contains the Proceedings of the Regional Symposium of the International Society for Rock Mechanics (ISRM), which was held 29 to 31 October 2009 in Cavtat near Dubrovnik, Croatia.
