Fundamental Concepts and Computations in Chemical Engineering

A comprehensive introduction to topics that students will study in more detail throughout the curriculum. Topics are presented in a very unintimidating way. Students need to be encouraged and gain confidence in these introductory courses, and too often textbooks overcomplicate material too soon in the course, causing intimidation. The material is presented in this book in very simple and relatable terms. Each top is introduced and then the author takes it one step further through a simple but meaningful / relatively realistic example calculation.
