Diagnostic Histopathology of the Bone Marrow

features, as well as with peripheral blood and bone marrow aspiration morphology. Morphology is, in fact, accorded special attention in this book, since it remains the "gold standard" for many hematologic diagnoses and is the appropriate point of departure for more complex diagnostic investigations. More advanced immunologic and molecular techniques are not overlooked, however, and a discussion of these newer techniques is incorporated in the analysis throughout the text. Written as
