This textbook answers the need for a briefer version of Martini/Nath Fundamentals of Anatomy & Physiology for the two-semester anatomy & physiology course. While retaining the hallmark elements from the bigger book—complete body system coverage, key clinical discussions, a clear and straightforward writing style, and Martini’s precise and proven art program—this slim edition does not include coverage of human development (pregnancy, embryonic and fetal development, heredity, and the effects of aging) and has a reduced number of within-chapter features.

This slimmer version (still for the two-semester course) allows instructors to focus on the core science of anatomy & physiology.
